Finely chop the onion and put it in a little oil, when it is ready, add the wine and the pods (I had them frozen) and let them simmer for 15-20 minutes.

When ready, add finely chopped dill and crushed garlic, then season with salt.

Good appetite !

  • 500 g faole pastai
  • 150 g ton
  • 60 g olives
  • 2-3 tablespoons oil e.v. of olives
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • oregano
  • salt
  • pepper

We clean the beans, break it into pieces and boil it for about 13-15 minutes, then we pass it through a stream of cold water, then we let it drain in a sieve.
Drain the tuna from the oil or its own juice and transfer it to a bowl. Add the beans, olives, oregano, salt and pepper. Mix the lemon juice with the olive oil and pour the emulsion over the other ingredients.

We mix delicately and we can serve. Simple, fast and delicious. Good job and good appetite!

Bean pods & # 8211 Childhood memories

Most of my memories of food are from childhood. Then I discovered the taste of fresh cherries and freshly baked bread, pickles where my grandmother used ingredients only from her own yard, freshly picked carrots and raspberries that never managed to be washed.

At the same time, I fell in love with the taste of onions and garlic, basic ingredients in my current kitchen.

In the season of abundance in the garden, in the country you always have something to get your hands on and plant something: a salad, a soup and a dish 2. At that time I could still eat dish 2.

The years have passed but my memories are still alive and something tells me that I'm not the only one related to childhood through its unmistakable tastes.

I don't have my personal garden yet, but I was dreaming with my eyes open that day. The chest of memories opens every time I enter the market. Every vegetable and every fruit I see awakens dozens of memories and tastes.

No wonder most of my recipes are inspired by childhood.

Without further ado, here is one of my favorite childhood recipes. Both raw and frozen bean pods can be used in this recipe.

Bean pods in babies from 9-11 months

If you want to introduce your little one to the bean pod, an assortment of beans that is easily digested and can be given to babies from the first year of life, try this simple recipe. You can adapt the recipe according to the stage of diversification you are currently at.

Baby Bean Dish Ingredients:

  • a handful of beans
  • half a cup of bell peppers all cubed colors
  • a grated tomato or half a cup of diced tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • oregano or tarragon for more flavor
  • a few strands of dill
  • olive oil

How to prepare bean pods for babies:

1. Wash the green beans well and remove the tails and heads. We break it in two or three and put it in a pot with enough water to cover it. Add the peppers (in this case already cut and frozen) and the diced tomatoes (for babies younger than 1 year, put a grated tomato because canned tomato paste contains salt). Peel 2 cloves of garlic and cut finely.

2. Boil over medium / low heat for 30 minutes. Finely chop the dill and leave for another 3-5 minutes.

3. Prepare in a blender or pass with a fork until you get a food of consistent consistency with the child's chewing skills. Be careful not to leave whole beans (it can happen if the beans were old). Put a teaspoon of olive oil and serve with pieces of bread.

How to prepare green bean soup with lentils

Green bean soup with lentils is one of those recipes with a conquering simplicity. Many vegetables gathered together in that sour and delicious juice, thickened with a little rancid, as our grandmothers did. Oh, please !! Don't tell me about the one who is unhealthy, because we are opening a Pandora's box and I will have to tell you at what age my grandmothers left me, from whom I learned to make this soup! Let's put our obsessions aside and enjoy this traditional soup, which is as tasty as no other!

I did it in the fasting version, because for my grandmothers, those who cooked so & # 8220healthy & # 8221 Easter fasting was holy! But if you want it with a little smoked ham and drizzled with cream and vinegar, you can find at Laura Laurențiu & # 8211 Recipes like my mother's, a great Transylvanian recipe

Preparation Dish green beans with tomatoes and garlic

Ingredients for eating low pod green beans

I prepared bean pods (shells are also called), tomatoes, onions and garlic.

In winter we can use frozen or canned pods directly in broth & # 8211 see here.

    How do you peel tomatoes?

I started by peeling the tomatoes by short scalding. I boiled the water in a smaller pot. With a sharp knife I slightly cut each tomato in the cross & # 8211 only on the surface, not deep!

When the water in the pot boiled I put out the fire and put the notched tomatoes in it for 8 & # 8211 10 seconds. I fished them immediately with a whisk and took them out on a shredder.

They can already be easily peeled by hand, in a thin layer. I pulled lightly on the corners next to the notches and the shell came out very elegant.

Finally, I chopped them into cubes and placed them aside in a bowl, along with the good juice left.

How to make low bean & green bean meal?

I groomed the bean pods by breaking their heads. If among them there are more mature pods, sticky and with already formed grains, they split and only the grains are recovered. I washed them and cut them diagonally into suitable pieces 4-5 cm long. I chopped the green onion and placed it in a larger pan with a tablespoon of oil and a pinch of salt.

I hardened the onion until it became glassy. I was careful not to blush. I added the pieces of bean pods over it and poured half a cup of water. I let the beans boil slowly for 5 minutes then I added the diced tomatoes together with all their juice.

I peppered it and put a little green thyme (a few leaves, not much).

The tomatoes also leave juice to cook, so no additional liquid is needed. I cooked everything over medium heat for another 15 minutes. I don't want to get a porridge! At the end I put out the fire and added the crushed garlic. If you like it & # 8222 wholesale & # 8221 now is the time to put it on. In a cup, open a teaspoon of flour or starch in 150ml milk and pour it over the still boiling beans. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes then turn off the heat and add the garlic.
