Snitel is coming


Viennese schnitzel is an old recipe from the 19th century in Austria and is made from beef and breadcrumbs. Fragile on the inside and crispy on the outside, Viennese schnitzel is generally served with potatoes and a slice of lemon. Nowadays, this schnitzel is also made from chicken, turkey or pork and all the variants are tasty, but it seems that the original recipe is the best. I used a tender veal.

  • 500 gr veal (beef)
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 glass of flour
  • 1 glass of breadcrumbs
  • frying oil

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

METHOD OF PREPARING THE RECIPE Snitel Viennese:

Slice the meat and beat the slices with a meat grinder.

Salt and pepper the meat on both sides (ideally cover it with cling film and leave it to cool for about 2 hours).

We prepare three plates: in the first we beat the eggs with the milk, in the second we put the flour and in the third, the breadcrumbs.

Pass the pieces of meat one by one through the flour, egg and breadcrumbs and fry them in hot oil on both sides.

Remove the snails on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
